Musical Theater Critique Guidelines
Music students should attend live musical events and be able to comment articulately on aspects of the performance. Do not merely describe something simply as “good” or “bad”. You need details. Use specific words and complete sentences that reflect the strengths and weaknesses of each aspect you are evaluating. Give examples from the production, whether good or bad, to back up your opinions.

One sentence to indicate whether your critique will be positive or negative

A critique of the music
A critique of the singers (projection, portrayal,
A critique of the technical aspects and set

What kind of audience would enjoy it and Why?
