So today I am going to attempt to get out from behind the 8 ball. I am back from my two week laze-fest and am headed into work. The amount of confusion I have in me right now is equal only to the amount of crap I ate in the past two weeks. I have been getting emails from school and really have no idea what they mean. I am hoping that my master’s degree will kick in and I’ll be able to figure it all out. Plus I have some great colleagues who have been very helpful.
Wish me luck!!
This also means that soon I’ll be posting some blogs for my students that will end up in your feed if you are following this blog. Sorry about that. You can either ignore them, or jump right in and participate. I will also try and keep up the regular blog as well. I wouldn’t want you to go into some deep despair if you don’t here about the mundane-ness of my life.
Yesterday was Andrew’s 19th birthday. Oh my goodness.
Time has flown by. He heads back to school tomorrow, and I’m gonna miss him. I am so proud of him and who he is becoming.
As you might remember I was going to the Iowa State Fair this past week so I thought I’d post a few pictures.
Disclaimer: Due to the aforementioned laze-fest I do not have any make up on and my hair is barely in any sort of style. My apologies.
Then we headed on over to the KGGO booth and took a picture for Rich. He loves KGGO and streams it here in California.
The theme for the butter display this year was field of dreams, and of course there was the original cow.
It was a beautiful day at the fair. The weather was nice, I got to spend some quality time with my mom and Bella, I didn’t go into insulin shock, and I didn’t scream hysterically when I saw the giant man with the pitchfork.
Let’s hope today goes just as well.
